Hi, i’m brit

it’s nice to have you here

I’ve always believed life is best lived boldly.

Whether that’s indulging in new cuisines (I’ll try anything once, including bugs!), hopping continents, or finding joy in the most unexpected adventures (yes, I have been chased by zombies but more on that later).

But my true appreciation for life and all its flavors comes from my grandmother. She was the one who taught me that food is more than just nourishment – it’s a language of love. The way she cooked, the way she shared meals, it was her way of showing love for the people around her. Through her, I learned that a meal could be magic.

When I lost her and was left to sort through her belongings, something struck me. Tucked away were beautiful things, expensive things – dishes, perfumes, even clothes – items she’d been saving for some special day; a day that, for her, would never come. They were untouched, never used, tags still on. In that moment, she taught me one of life’s greatest lessons: don’t wait. Don’t save your nicest things for someday. Use them now. Celebrate today. Honor every moment by fully living in it.

It’s a lesson that prompted me to start this blog. It’s a lesson I carry with me, whether I’m pouring myself a cup of tea in a fancy cup “just because” or diving headfirst into a new business venture. Every day deserves your best, and life is too short not to wear your favorite dress, eat that special dessert, or embark on an adventure.

Though I long for London, where I spent some of my most formative years, for now, you’ll find me in sunny Florida, where I balance my love for good food and my insatiable curiosity with my day job, marketing and brand-building.

I believe deeply in the power of storytelling, sharing, building meaningful connections, and using digital spaces to elevate people, stories, products, and brands that matter.

And that’s precisely what I aim to do here.

I’m at a point in my life where I crave less stuff and more quality in all aspects of life. It’s not about perfection or strict rules, but time is precious, and it’s important to me to spend mine responsibly and meaningfully for myself, my relationships, and my environment.

So, if you’re here for a dose of wanderlust, a delicious recipe recommendation, or maybe your next great read, welcome! Let’s celebrate right now, together.

Oh, and about those zombies? Stay tuned. You’ll want to hear that one.
